For 13 years, Kwesi Nyantakyi served as the President of the Ghana Football Association. Despite several allegations of corruption against him and his administration, he continued to rise to dominance. In world football, he also remained a powerful force, serving as a FIFA Council member, President of the West African Football Union (WAFU) and Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
In this investigation, Kwesi Nyantakyi was captured taking bribes from the Tiger Eye team – who posed as foreign investors. Watch how the President of the Ghana Football Association compromised himself by proposing fraudulent deals and promising great rewards to the investigators, including a plan to “take over Ghana.”
Following the release of the documentary, FIFA banned Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi for life fined him a total of about $495,000 for conflict of interest, commission, corruption & bribery. He is currently under investigation and liable for public prosecution under the laws of Ghana.
